Self-focus is often constructed as a negative, but in truth there is no higher or deeper form of understanding of life, than the understanding of one’s self. Self-exploration is the highest form of enlightenment.
That is because everything begins at “the self.” You are the first conduit through which you experience existence, and self-understanding is the most crucial form of mastery in life, before and to be able to continue taking existence in. Step 1.
And the universe mirrors this. To go inward is to connect with the universe itself, that manifests into the single consciousness that is you. To explore yourself, is to explore the universe. (Step 2). To love yourself, is to love the miracle of life, the burst of consciousness that animates the universe.
To know yourself, is the wisdom to know the universe in all its facets, unafraid of what you’ll find in the “darkest” corners, and willing to eye it all, in the warm and welcoming embrace of the fascination, of the self.
The human body expresses your essence, which vibrates, and emanates from your physical body. Fabric and clothing directs that flow of energy; it can let it flow like well-redirected currents or focused waves in case of large fabrics from which your currents seep, pace it, restrict it or organize it in case of tight clothing. It’s as per what you want; how you organize your energy will create your force field.
A fashionable human being is proof of an advanced consciousness, as shallow as this may sound to some. To have style, is to have a marked, profound, and conscious sense of identify. It’s a sign of willpower, and the ability to harness yourself. The conscious application of will upon physical reality, enough to, and which can decide of and shape reality around you, in ways that allows that force field to enact changes upon said reality. Being truly one’s self means being concentrated enough, and centred enough in one’s self, that one can, again, go out into the world, take existence in, and shape it in what ways you want.
Finally, when currents are organized, your force field is increased, raising its/your magnetism, making the soul vibrates, and it evolves higher above its condition, and attracts. That is why fashion icons are considered magnetic, and attractive, even beyond their features, or the many years of starvation and deprivation they force themselves into to achieve a particular appearance.
